BATELLE INSTITUTE HR PROBE

DESCRIPTION:
Remote operator controlled probe designed for exploration and investigation at extreme depths.

The HR Probe is designed to interface with its operator and give tactile as well as visual responses to the environment it occupies. The main purpose is to augment the WSKRS and explore in environments dangerous to divers. It is carried only by the seaQuest deep submergence vehicle. The HR Probe has been operational since 2017.

FEATURES:
The Battelle Institute HR Probe is capable of precise movement necessary for specimen collection or exploration. It allows for the operator to experience a virtual representation of the space that the probe is currently occupying.
